This painting was created in a field at the back of Anglo Printers, Drogheda. It was painted on a sunny Sunday morning in March 2022. There were horses roaming around me, friendly enough but I didn’t annoy them. The only reason I came down to this field was because I had heard a few days prior that is was being excavated and I came down for a nosy. Not realising how lovely the area actually was until I got there, I left there with the urge to paint, so brought my easel next time I was down.
